Text Wraps for Digital Vinyl Printing

This blog post is to tell you some of the limitations of the vinyl transfer process for small lettering and logos

 

So here we go!

Lets use our text as an example which we want on the left hand chest of the t-shirt:

 

Our machine sees & cuts it like this:

 

We then have to remove all the excess vinyl once the image has been cut along the path. In this example, the pink needs to be removed, the white will remain and be pressed onto the T-shirt:

 

The "Budget" will be fine because the letters are large, the "Screen Printing" would be an issue and we would need to create a text wrap of some sort

The problem is that the letters are so small that when the vinyl around them is removed it takes a very long time and is prone to peeling because there is not a lot of glue adhering the transfer to the fabric

Some recommended wrap styles for this job would be as follows:

 

When we do this we print a colour to match the garment. We match as close us humanly possible, but the textures are different, please keep this in mind
